1.4 Promotions & Contests

2. User Content & Community Guidelines

2.1 User Responsibility & Moderation

All user-submitted content—including recipe submissions, photos, reviews, cooking tips, and feedback ("User Content")—is the sole responsibility of the individual who posts it. Recipe Hub does not pre-screen all user submissions, but we reserve the right to modify, decline, or remove any material that violates these terms, breaches copyright laws, or compromises community safety.

2.2 Ownership & Licensing Rights

You retain ownership of the original text, photos, and reviews you submit. However, by uploading User Content to Recipe Hub, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, non-exclusive license to publish, display, translate, edit, distribute, and feature your content across digital, social, and print media formats.

2.3 Community Reviews & Ratings

Recipe ratings and reviews must reflect genuine, first-hand cooking experiences. Users must not publish deceptive reviews, post competitive ratings for commercial gain, or accept monetary compensation in exchange for inflated feedback.

2.4 Code of Conduct

When engaging with Recipe Hub, you agree NOT to:

Upload unlawful, defamatory, abusive, explicit, or misleading content.
Promote unsolicited commercial advertising, spam, or referral schemes.
Impersonate any individual, team member, or affiliated chef.
Infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, or proprietary rights of third parties.

3. Platform Intellectual Property & Restrictions

3.1 Platform Ownership

Excluding individual User Content, all materials featured on Recipe Hub—including graphics, branding, software code, editorial articles, recipe databases, and user interfaces—are the intellectual property of Recipe Hub and its licensors, protected under international copyright and trademark standards.

3.2 Usage Restrictions

Unless explicitly authorized in writing, users are strictly prohibited from:

Monetizing, scraping, copying, renting, or redistributing platform content.
Using automated crawlers, scrapers, or data-extraction scripts to harvest information from our Services.

4. Liability Limits & Legal Protection

You agree to defend, protect, and hold harmless Recipe Hub, its officers, partners, employees, and operational agents from any legal claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your misuse of the platform, violation of these terms, or infringement upon third-party rights.

4.2 Revisions to Terms
